It might have flat spotted from sitting in Covid isolation, so maybe give it a high speed run when you have that all alone car time...

:D :D :D

...If it is a high speed kid hauler though, it is time for new rubbers. If only I had known....

Do you need my HF plastic welder? Used once!

Bruno - I'd be nervous about that tire. Might be some sort of belt separation going on.

I replaced the fuel filter on my S70. Unclear how many miles the old one had.
Also mounted my new blower fan that FINALLY arrived.

I took off my snow tires (last week? time is meaningless) and found that one of my all-season tires had developed dimples on its sidewall. It’s toast, right?
I'm no expert, but here's what the experts say about sidewall indentations:

I had a set of tires with the indented appearance many years ago. I drove them without failure until they had minimum tread.

Had a tire like that on my brother's E34 until he got a new set of wheels. Never had any issues with it.

So today I did the glove test to check out the condition of the pcv system on my S70. I do that monthly. Everything was okay. Then I checked the oil level. I write down the mileage everytime I fill it up to max and write the mileage again if the oillevel hits the MIN mark on the dipstick so I get an estimate on the oil usuage of the car. Something funny came to light whilst doing this. The oillevel will stay beneath the MAX marking for quite some time, like several weeks/months, and then just plommet halfway down between MIN and MAX. Can someone here shed some light on this phenomena? :-)

Are you in the same place each time you measure?

Yes! I always measure it on my own driveway with the car always in the same position.
