I installed my "new" driver seat. The color match is near perfect, and the seat bottom is still really firm. I don't think there were many miles on this seat.

Wow, can't believe you found a used seat with so little use. I saw a nice set of beige ones in a Seattle yard years ago. I didn't have any way to carry them, but thought, "Oh, they're out there, I'll pick some up sometime." They vanished, and I've never seen a nice set since.

They are getting pretty rare in junkyards now, even as passenger seat swaps

New skins can still be bought for about xxx

Yes, I was very surprised myself. I think this seat was sitting in the sellers basement for quite some time. He said he bought it for a car he was going to buy, but that never happened. Sometimes you just get lucky I guess.

That silver bent brick looks like one I had. It was a 92 940 HPT with a special package in UK called the Wentworth Edition. Great car. I was doing a 300 mile round trip once a week for work and it was comfortable and a great car. Swapped for a 98 V70 T5.

The seats in my '98 V70R rescue are right shabby, wish I could find a nice pair on this side of The Big Water.
Bricks are tough, she'll be awrite.
