Oil level should be checked only with the engine running.

Best of luck to you with the valve body replacement. Most of the work has been done if you already have the old one out. Just curious where did get the new valve body?

AC Delco makes brand new ones, sold on Amazon for ~$500. Needs only minor mod for Volvo.

So frustrating!!
The garage shifts now works nice but still a flare between 3 to 4.
Since its only 3-4 what could i be ?

Yes I did delete adaptation data and then the relearn procedure.

How's your B4 servo pin doing?

This is what it looked like 1 year ago when I changed the B4 servo cover.
The only thing I remember from that job is that the servo pin was hard to push in and I had to use a little bit of muscle power to get the servo cover all the way in.

What does the servo pin actually do ?
I cant remember that there was a spring inside or putting a spring back in while assembling
