We never camped inside or on top of a Volvo, but here are some photos of our first camping trip as newly weds. We bought a 99' V70XC in late August of that year and also a 96' Dutchman Popup along with new Cannondale bikes. After driving the new Volvo for 3k miles we deemed it sufficiently broken in and ready to tow.

A couple of long road trips I have slept in the back.
I went to Vancouver BC once to race my little boat. Slept in the back along the way and in the boat yard during the races. Rain. Vancouver. "The funny Yank sleepin' in the back of the boatyard."
Another trip to Park City UT to race on a reservoir there. Fall - chilly in the mountains. Empty campground....and all paved..(?). Wind blew my tent down the road, so I slept in the warm car!
And last weekend at Holland Lake....does that count as camping in a warm cabin?? Other than sleeping bags, I think not!
