Someone who can read Chinese told me the Buzz in Chinese circles is that the U.S. and China worked together to developed a Virus to reduce the elderly population as they are living longer and costing society more money for their extended life and end of life care.
You can replace or live with failing organs for quite sometime but you can't replace the lungs nor can you ever pump enough oxygen if the lung can't/won't take it.
