P80 Flex Pipe Repair Option

Another good ol' flex pipe post... Was searching on Ebay and came across this posting:

Seems like it would be a good option for folks who want stuff to be as OEM as possible and save some money. Still a little pricey though. And it's coming from the Netherlands?

That part number showsNLA on volvo web store but 9471934 covers it

$555 fir Volvo, $280 for PPS from FCP

OP that is not a genuine Volvo part, it fits a genuine part like 9471933. From what I know Volvo never sold that flex piece separately but didn't search to check. Quality is of course unknown but that piece could be a good band-aid alternative if you don't want to shell out for a complete manifold. $100 with shipping though ...

Abscate your part numbers (9471933 and 9471934) and prices are all for full exhaust manifolds.

I used something similar when I had my '96 GLT and needed to fix the busted exhaust manifold.

That looks like a chinese part and way too expensive. I got myself a Vibrant but you need a skilled place to weld it really precise to the catalytic converter, or it will not last much. I would much rather buy a complete down pipe - flex and cat from a reputed shop

Thanks for the video. Thinking about pulling this piece to see if it'll help my car be "ready" but man... not looking forward to the 45 hrs of labor...

I'm guessing pulling off the manifold and getting a shop to weld on the right piece is the move, huh?
