Welp, the other shoe has dropped. The tiny coolant hose between the thermostat housing and the banjo bolt on the intake manifold has ruptured and the coolant reservoir went dry.

I believe I have enough left over hose and oetiker clamps from replacing the other end of this coolant line, assuming that the fittings are the same diameter. I think I'll have to remove the upper coolant hose, and also remove the serpentine belt and disconnect/move the power steering pump in order to get access to replace this hose. Hopefully I can do it without needing to remove the banjo bolt.
Cars I've owned:
- 2015 to current: 2001 Volvo V70 2.4T; 2004 Honda Odyssey
- 2007 to 2015: 2002 Subaru Legacy L Wagon
- 2003 to 2016: 2001 Toyota Corolla LE
- 1999 to 2003: 1994 Toyota Camry LE
