got these HD end links from IPD,
https://www.ipdusa.com/products/11189/F ... IPD-124646
Do i need to apply any 'Loctite' on the locking not on these end links? seems it should be extra carefully tight, no?
Whats the torque to close these?
video just shows him tightening...

No loctite.
They must be "really tight" as mentioned. It's easy to mess up and find out later they weren't tight. For that reason I use an impact to tighten these. I'm sure there is a torque spec but I don't know it.

the anti-roll bar
the cap. Tighten to 50 Nm (36.9 ft. lbs.)
links to anti-roll bar. Tighten to 50 Nm (36.9 ft. lbs.)
That’s using your lower arm strength on a 6 inch ratchet , but they will rust in place pretty quickly

volvo swaged the nut, they crimped it so its out of round and binds on the thread.
The thread is very course but will not loosen by vibration.
Crimp mark on the nut is visible. I marked it with a black marker pen.

The link is held in by the taper, not he nut. Once the taper gets pulled in tight, the link will stay in place.
How often do the links just fall out after the nut is removed, unless you traumatize it a bit?

The attachment hole on the genuine strut is actually not round so the stud has a little play inside. That's why if the nut is not tighten good the stud will move and knock. However, I don,t like tightening this nut like crazy because it's impossible to remove again if I need to work on the suspension one day. I prefer putting antiseize on the stud - same on the lower nut which is even harder to release when rusted because it has a tiny torx counterhold

Yes, those Torx counter holds are useless in the salt Belts.
I put the link into tension with a floor jack, heat for 30nseconds with propane, then impact off the 15 mm hex in one go, with no counterhold

Impact has always broken them loose for me. Then I use the torx/hex and a ratcheting box wrench to finish them.

When badly rusted, my removal tool of choice is a Dremel with a cut off wheel.
