I'm having a difficult time getting the belt back on...I'm wondering now if I should remove tensioner piston , lace the belt on the pulley's , then re-install tensioner ? .I put the belt on previously ,and it didnt give me near as much resistance ...Oh well ,Onward thru the fog ,and Damn the Torpedoes ,it's just a SMALL iceberg ?

Okay , I removed the plastic bushing that gave me enough slack to get belt on ,then weasled the cap back in to its place . I used the 1'' foam block trick as suggested , to be honest ,at first didn't think the material would hold ,but it did !Checked all marks, all looked good even after the 2 revolutions , now the only bullets to sweat out is the PIA water pump W/ no goop on gasket { fingers crossed } ,it's a good thing I replaced it however ,as the original impeller was wearing into its housing , hopefully all will be decent for a while and I can add a 94 white 850 Turbo to the fleet of Sveedish Viking BattleAxe's, next mission will be thermostat and PCV system , after I install a complete new dash ...but that is another Saga in ...Drum Roll Please ' The Revival of Orphaned Sveede's " thanks a MILLION to all my fellow Mathew Minion and Minionette's .I will give a final prognosis if desired .
