Hi all, I'm looking for the grill insert from a 96-97 850 wagon lower air dam. I have the air dam itself, but the grill work that clips in is missing. Very hard part to find in a junk yard as most of the time the entire air dam is missing.
I'm in zip code 17972, PA. Would happily pay $20 plus whatever it costs to ship it. Even if its not in great condition I'm interested. If I can't find one, I will likely make my own grill out of graphite arrow shafts

I'll put it on my list to keep an eye out for! You're looking for the center grille, right?SonicAdventure wrote: ↑05 Apr 2021, 14:41 Hi all, I'm looking for the grill insert from a 96-97 850 wagon lower air dam. Can't quite tell if I'm reading it right, is it called a 'louver' in Volvospeak ? Looks like it might be available new ?bmdubya1198 wrote: ↑05 Apr 2021, 20:36I'll put it on my list to keep an eye out for! I bought all three pieces for the '98 Rescue R when I got the car - but it's a V70, so I dunno. I should go look at the T5 and see if I need one too.

Just stopped by a yard here in Richmond, Va. One 2004 S60 looks like someone tried to take care of it. The Bosch throttle body looks to be almost brand new, some rear links look new. The front struts are brand new, shiny bolts no dirt on struts but they are SenSen part# 9214-0168. Yard charges $38 a piece for them. Worth grabbing?? I believe I’m going to grab the Bosch throttle body if it’s still there today or tomorrow.

SenSen is a cheaper brand, I'm not sure about how they ride though as I've never used them. It could be a good deal if your struts are completely blown out.

My front struts are fine. They are lower quality quick strut put on by the previous owner. Another car out there has a set of Sachs on the front. I’m not sure the condition. Wish I could find a date code on them. What I really would like is a set that I could reload using the springs b/c when my set dies they are going to the dump.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the cheaper quick struts. My cousin had a set on his '98 V70 and the springs raised up the front end a LOT. It looked like one of those Carolina squatted trucks

If the Sachs are dry (would be a small bonus if you knew the miles), I would be more inclined to get them.
A spare throttle body never hurts, but is there a change from '04 to '07 in the engine management system ? The '04 matches the earlier P80 cars as I recall, dunno about yours.
