In his 12th year which was his last, he still swam across a 1 mile wide lake and back, he would sleep for about 2 days after......sweet thing! Old dogs are the best!
I hope we have another year with her. I know I’ll have to get her Shep Husky friend a kitten when she goes.

Moved the hitch from the 06 S60 R over to the 07 V70XC and installed the bike rack.

I had this code when the o-ring for the driver's side sending unit was leaking gas so bad you could smell the fumes from across the street. Have you popped your back seat cushion out, and removed both black round covers (4 10mm nuts on each) on top of the gas tank, to see if there's a leak there? Might be worth checking before replacing a bunch of parts and still ending up with the same code.
One of the first things I checked. No smoke in the cabin.
Additionally, the Evap Purge valve default position (unpowered) is CLOSED. With a little thought and a test of the new valve, this is obvious (ha ha).
Now, how the hell do I get to it.
I found the valve after dropping the exhaust system and removing the heat shield (an adventure on it's own). There's a cast aluminum frame component an inch or less below the charcoal canister. The valve is right next to the canister. I can barely get my hand in there to TOUCH the valve, but I sure can't get the hoses off or disconnect it; there's no room to do so.
Has anyone done this before?

I cry over all the Naugs that died to outfit cars today.

Down patrol today. The T4 and the P2 are headed to Port Jeff Ferry for relocation of one of the girls to Stony Brook.

C130s were available but the called me to cancel due to a P0455 code

Yesterday actually, bro and I completed front 4C strut R&R on 2006 V70R. Drives like a new car, whereas before replacement the ride was awful.

They should clear the P0455 code and fly on. I did just that yesterday on my V70. It also rolled over to 200,000 miles yesterday. Covid year mileage was way down from previous year.

I walked to the dentist yesterday. On the way back I went down a different back street and found a nice V70R in a driveway. Dark grey with dark or black wheels, low and wide. Lives four blocks from me and I've never seen it.

It probably just sits in the road and the owner gets in once a day and goes vRoom.

There was one like this in NC and he drove a Miata to work.
