850 Front suspension Need advice

Post by manovlov »

Hy Buddies,

All is in the title . When i had to separate me from my V70 diesel, i kept the front suspension kit to put it on my 850. I think that the springs were a bit to strong or to olds. Now, it's complicated. The minus hole on the road make the wheels "dance"... Tie rod end, tie rods and swaybar axles (Lemforder), control arms are new. I would like to keep springs, but i have to renew all the rest as the list below, so i would like to have your advice about what to choose :
  • Spring front cap front axle uppers - 306 83 637
    Nut spring cap - 312 62 068
Supporting ring, suspension strut bearing- 312 01 386
Supporting ring, suspension srtrut bearing front axle upper - 306 47 969
Suspensions strut support Bearing front axle upper - 312 00599
Of course, as always i don't do anything without music ...
Thanks to you all

Manov

The bounce is from the springs, struts and or shocks comb. Put in some OEM dampers to see if the bounce goes away, if not you'll have to purchase some springs rated for the car. Everything else would not affect the ride if they are of the same dimensions, fit and geometry.
