Got a 2001 V70XC and trying to remove the rear side head restraints. This is to fit a child seat in as the headrest is just enough far forward that it interferes with the booster seat. The headrest only flips forward. I don’t mind breaking something to take it off as it does get in the way and I can sort something out later.
Are there any hidden unknown ways? Surely there must be a way for seat cover installs?
Secondly the seat base I’ve got doesn’t have the built in boosters on the side so the other option is how easy are the bases changed? I could find another seat at the wreckers that has the built in boosters? And change them over?
