Let them pay for the financial consequences of their choice.

Also, would the principle apply to those who get COVID or really sick after getting the vaccine?

Lost my aunt mid Feb. Close as mom. Four others in two differenct states got it and 3 survived using Ivermectin and one tough it out with over the counter meds.

Fevers gone in two days just like the test results in Australian lab early last year. COVID attacks the respiratory system so there is almost no hope once the lungs are damaged. Many organs you can replace but not the lungs. No way get air exchange through your system except through lungs.

You must be thinking Snake oils not Medicines.

Medicines including Vaccines and never have been promoted as risk free. They are promoted as much better odds. This has the case since antiquity.

“All things are poisons, for there is nothing without poisonous qualities. It is only the dose which makes a thing poison.”
― Paracelsus

Wheat bread came first. White bread is made from White flour. White flour is made up of only the Endosperm portion of the wheat, eliminating most of the grain's nutrients and fiber. The removed parts: Bran where the fiber is and Germ when the bulk of the nutrients are. That is why white bread is junk. Little more then filler and not food in my book.

Glutton free .. Na .. people pig it down like crazy. The Gluten-free craze is another racket to sell diet book. Unless you have Celiac disease, gluten sensitivity, or other gluten-related disorders. Gluten-free is just a waste of money.

The principle is you have a right to your beliefs but you are responsible for the consequences of your beliefs. Nobody has the right to dump the financial burden of beliefs on others.

The people that got vaccinated followed the public policy and acted in the best interest of public health. Abandoning them financially would be like abandoning a soldier who stood with you in the midst of a challenge.

Here is where the medical community was divided on two of their own. Miracle worker vs Barbarian.

https://www.sfgate.com/health/article/S ... 240298.php

Here is another example of higher education at odds. There was an ad taken out by a group of engineers who were working on this bridge. The ad fill both sides of the paper when opened. They were trying to warn the public in general of how unsafe and unproven this design was. Disagreements, timelines and dropping the ball happens all the time and don't make the news.

I use to work in CA where the Hayward Fault line ran. Drove up and down the freeway all the time day in day out. Took this bridge also.

https://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/ ... 616774.php

Another which came to mind was the space shuttle accident. People and things can get very far before the proverbial poop hitting the fan. Having first hand experience with vaccine injury I do my research and weight all sides. So many lawsuits Pharma bought uncle Sam and established a National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program in 1980. No one has enough money to fight Pharma and they don't want the news. People get what they can and compensation is capped.

It stands to reason asking those who get vaccinated to pay for their shared cost of the entire process of bring it to market, including the failed ones and damaged goods.

They have paid for it though taxes. The difference is they are not driving up the cost beyond what is necessary.

I caused a real s*storm in my kids school years ago when almost half the class claimed exemptions from vaccines spouting all kinds of anti-vax nonsense.

It takes herd immunity to protect the population, not the individual shot. We all have to take the risk of the vaccine as a shared risk, one that is much lower than the risk and consequence of catching ( the disease)

Claiming your own personal risk is more important than anyone else if self centered and anti-social behaviour

Exemptions should be tightly controlled for those with documented immune disorders, and not by family physicians writing letters

I eventually won the Board over with get vaccinated or leave the ( private ) School.

A search this morning on worldwide Covid case rates does not seem to show a correlation between people being vaccinated and reduction in over all cases.
Japan seems to have done rather well, even with less than 1% ( .8 ) of its population vaccinated. Crowded with people, and an average age population that is 10 years older than the U.S. We, on the other hand, are about 33% vaccinated but have cases going up, not down.
I don't think that the fact that we, as a people, tend to rely on pharmaceuticals more than any other country, and at the same time seem to be being hit harder than any other country with this virus, should be ignored. We yearly convince people to get flu shots that sometimes are only 10% effective, and are only 40% effective on average, and then wonder why the virus keeps mutating every year. I think it's because we want instant results, instead of hard work. Its been bred into us. Want to lose weight ? Take a pill instead of exercise. Want to bring down your cholesterol ? Same procedure. And then there are the antibiotics that we thought were so great, until we started finding them in everything from food to drinking water, and realized that the over exposure to them was reducing their effectiveness. Apparently big pharma has the cure for everything human, except itself.

I'm not condemning all pharmaceuticals or their use, but I am aware of their over sized prominence in our country and can't help but wonder if that might be complicating things when it comes to the best way to fight this virus. But I'm open to other explanations.

So how does everybody feel about the very real possibility that you will have to get a Covid shot every year ?
I was worried that things might move that way eventually, but it's looking like its going to happen sooner than later.
Do we really believe that we can no longer, or should no longer, live in this world without the help of big pharma, an industry ( yes it is one ) that has to recall thousands ( apx 4500 ) of its own previously approved products every year ? Products that went through way more testing over a much longer time frame than any of these vaccines. The more this all goes on, the more resistant I am to getting any of these so called " cures ". One week pharma is advertising their goodies to you, and the next week lawyers are signing you up for a class action lawsuit for issues with those very same goodies. Of course in this case big pharma is covered with legal exemptions.
Taken any Zantac recently ? I didn't think so.
