I'm trying to figure out what these codes mean. My light comes on about every 100 miles or so and I have just been resetting it as the car runs fine. This is what comes out of the reader.

P0410 means there's a fault in the secondary air injection system (as found on California emissions vehicles), see https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/chat/p ... php?p=8952

Were California cars different? This car was taken off the boat in Seattle and has only been in this part of the world since.

There were California standards, but found everywhere. My S70, originally sold to someone in N.J., made its way to Florida and then up to Louisville, Ky where I bought it and brought it to Tennessee. It also has a secondary air pump. I wouldn't worry over your car being for California or not, but the code is for the secondary air pump. It shouldn't give you all the other codes though. For all of the codes to come up religiously over and over again I would suspect some kind of electrical quirk.
