I believe that those antennae "try" to retract every time you turn the car off, even if they are already retracted.

Perform the current drain test with an ammeter, and let us know what you find.

The other culprit could very well be the alternator itself, but you ought to be getting a dashboard (low voltage) light, if it were buggered.

Now I have a new heavy coolant leak coming from the back part of the motor. The leak is not coming from any hoses. I thought I was done with this coolant leak crap! I don't know what this could be. Sorry men, I am just frustrated , I feel like I am back to square 1. Car battery still drains dead and now a new vicious coolant leak.

There is a plug or outlet for coolant at the back of the engine. If this is not tight it should be. If this isn't it, then it could be your water pump. You might want to check the bottom of your timing belt area where it resides.

Thank you MadeinJapan, I will check the plug when I get home from work. That might be the problem, I say that because the leak is heavy, its not seeping out, its like really leaking out. I was thinking if it was the water pump it would trickle out.

I hope for your sake it's the plug too. Normally when water pumps go they go a bit at a time, but I have heard of their catastrophic demise. Carry plenty of coolant with you, check it often and don't drive to far if you're going somewhere in it.

Is this car a turbo? If it is, it could be one the lines to the turbo leaking.
