I bought my lumber last fall and the yard held it fit me. It’s more than doubled since then.

Price of framing lumber has skyrocketed lately. Maybe you found that out.
I’m guessing supply chain from Canada is broken?

That is nice looking lumber. Canadians must be shipping all the good stuff south or you just get better lumber. Stuff up here is horrid. Like hockey sticks and got even more stupid expensive. Last year it was $250 for a 92" regular 2" x 4" stud. Today it is $11.00!!
In typical Lowes logic, a 2" x 4" 8ft is $9.00??

Good luck with the build!

Neil.

This is a local lumber yard , 2 minutes from the house. Their prices are 20% higher than Lowe’s in town, but the lumber is at least 30% better just in bad pieces

The pallet it and drop it onto my trailer in lots I designate so that I can coordinate new material and demo flow accordingly

Yeah, I picked up 4 2x4x8s at Home Depot a couple months ago to build a shelf for larger parts... $35. And the wood wasn't that great either.

Had to change front brake pipe... hose to pass yearly MOT. I was happy that nothing else. And if you keep brake pedal pushed you need just pump that front until you get just fluid out of it again so air doesn't go back in line. No need all car airing (in my case didn't and didn't need add even fluid due last time i put slightly extra it seems.). The rear pipe nut to hose was tight and need good tools to get hold of as its so easy to round that thing.

Holy Sawdust ! Did you hit Lotto or something ? (Unless you bought the entire cut list back then.)
And: Just a reminder, you have kids in college !
I just spent a small fortune on 2 x 8s for shelving to get parts off the floor. Seriously cut into the beer budget.

Who likes the nostalgic touch on my signature? Lol. Anyway the last 3 days have been insane. I've been working very hard to get needed maintenance done on my new 98 s GT. I'll call it my GT. Please refer to my thread on the main p80 forum for the list of maintenance.

The last 3 days I have:
Removed GT passenger seat
Removed the GT driver seat from car
removed gt driver upholstery and refit with my 960 upholstery
Vacuumed GT
Trashed pass&driver carpet
Oiled the 960 upholstery
Flushed coolant
Removed the radiator (after removing entire front and grinding off the seized rad bolts)
Changed spark plugs (new wire set coming soon)
Changed heated core
Removed, took apart, & cleaned middle console
Cut 12v socket wires and removed 12v sockets
Removed GT all-grey steering wheel
Replaced GT wheel with 960 all-black wheel
Removed UGLY BROWN dashboard
Removed lonely factory 816 radio
Replaced 816 with SC-901, dolby center amp, 4 channel Volvo amp (not c70), and Bose 5.25" DVC sub (Mid-00 Nissan donut box)
Tested 6-disc cd changer on the 960 sc-811 radio
Removed useless wiper blades (more on the way)
I finally washed it tonight before I got into bed!
