Not where the car was, where it would have had to go by tow truck if I wanted to keep it.
Chappaquiddick Island. One big ferry from Cape Cod to Martha's Vineyard, and then a small ferry across Edgartown Harbor.

Nice that someone responded 5 1/2 years later because I have some feedback about the sc radios. The 816, 811, and 901 are the ones I have experience with. The 816 sucks IMO. It was horrible in my xc and also in my 960 when I tried it for a few minutes. My 960 came factory with 811. That 960 had THE BEST stereo system i have experienced in 26+ cars ranging from 1996 to 2020 with Alpine, Dolby, and Bose. I also currently have a 901. I JUST installed it a couple days ago into my 98 s70 GT with center channel amp, 98 s70 t5 amp. Today I completed the setup with a 5.25" Bose sub and my Yatour usb/sd/aux unit. Amazing sound, still need to spend some time listening to it, but as of right now the 811 stereo setup surpasses the 901. I am an audiophile despite being poor. I own Audio Technica Ws990bt headphones. I listen to Mozart, Enya, but 95% Christian music including Lecrae. The 960 811 setup surpasses any stereo in treble and bass. Mozart's violin music was absolutely amazing with the treble. The bass was so strong with Lecrae playing, I had to slide the base down halfway from the midpoint. With Enya playing I kept both at the midpoint. I will leave more feedback after listening to the 901 with ProLogic active.kcodyjr wrote: ↑05 May 2021, 20:29Five and a half years later, your response got read.
In the end, I wound up buying a JVC unit with programmable light colors, a minimum of chrome, and built-in Bluetooth. I think I spent around $250 on it. Although it didn't look factory, it did manage to avoid looking gauche. I wound up driving the dash tweets off the head unit, the doors off a 4x40 factory amp mounted behind the radio, and I drove the factory rear deck speakers as subwoofers using a trunk mount 2x100 Pioneer amp. It served well, and absolutely rocked, for years. I highly recommend this configuration in an 854.
The finest stereo I have ever experienced, in a car or anywhere else, is the factory Premium setup in my 2012 C70 T5 Platinum.
