98 S70 n/a manual: flywheel visible? Topic is solved

98 S70 n/a manual: flywheel visible?

This of course is the model with manual trans. So a few days ago I noticed that looking at the far underside of the engine from the passenger side, the flywheel is visible. Is this normal? See picture below. Need answer ASAP because I have to leave at 9am to get my alignment done, but I want to change trans fluid before that. I dont want to drive an hour if an exposed flywheel is an issue. Couldnt mud, gravel, or other stuff get in there?

I have seen this often on other brands. No real concern to me. Sometimes there are removable covers, but this one does not show to have any means to attach a cover.
Take your trip and don't worry about this.

It's normal.

It's a slot to access torque converter bolts on cars with AT.
P.S. One gearbox bolt is missed. Put it in place, just for orderliness ))
