After my experience putting on an aftermarket coolant thermostat and that likely being the cause of my blown head gasket 2 days ago, I strongly advise using reputable parts. It was URO brand I think. Beck Arnley has a mixed bag of reviews. The best deal you can get for good timing belt kit is $130+ for Contitech. Thats what I bought. Rock Auto is a good place for deals yes, but the deals still come with a price (pun intended). At first thought, the cheap timing belt would be OK for a non interference engine like some red blocks. Second thought was, no it is too much effort to change the belt if it fails. Get the good stuff and forget about it for 100K miles.

And I'm +1 on URO stuff ; if you did a search for them here you would run out of space on the drive with comments about 'things that don't fit/work/fall apart' , including at least one from me.

The jaw-dropping lunacy of them selling anything for $1.71 is the humorous thing. They listed quite a few URO parts too ( see above ). I actually bought a few things for the Rescue R, but I mostly needed some stuff for an old Square Body C10 I just acquired in exchange for debt.
