Alright guys, I’m back from the garage and putting the car into drive or reverse before tightening does not affect vibrations at all.
However, I found comparison between the Volvo OEM and poly mount here: on YouTube and if you fast forward to 1:15 you can see that the Volvo OEM mount has a lot of flexibility. Maybe my vibration issue is just the result of a reinforced rubber mount…
