Thanks! Actually I wouldn't have objected to another color, my XC was dark blue as well so something new wouldn't have hurt.

I've been looking at the picture; and haven't been able to figure out what seems to be different from US models, curious what you meant by that?
I know that for other than EU markets e.g. the steering wheel is different; but am not aware of other differences. Would be interesting if you could name a few  !

Also... Contemplating a memory seat :-) Glad I bought this car because it seems te be in good condition, while looking for it I've also driven V70's that were at the same price point but beat up, but I did fall in love with the memory seat during one of those test drives :-) especially because my wife always adjusts the seat... and forgets to adjust it back afterwards

Does it have a different steering wheel? I figured they were all the same for P2 wagons. Well, except for the R.

Changed my starter on my 850r last night and that went well and now I'm suffering from lawnmower syndrome. More stuff to do.🤬

That lifted XC is pretty cool! My cousin just lifted his Jetta Sportwagen (like the one in the first pic). It rides surprisingly well.

Finished putting the interior of "Harold" the 850 back together after the evaporator replacement. This took me quite a while because there were quite a few "while I'm in there" items to do.
Now the heater core with pipes and hoses is new, as are all the radiator hoses, the reservoir and level sensor.
Also addressed are the dash mounting brackets which I reinforced with fiberglass. I also installed some vinyl insulation tape on the front edge of the dash.
I am happy with the result, AC is ice cold and there are no rattles or squeaks.

Only complaint I got from the kid is that the bulb for the shifter is out

Next up is doing the rear brakes and changing the stupid bulb.

I’m trying to not sweat the small stuff... but it’s driving me a little nuts that the gear indicator bulb is out on the S70. I might change that tomorrow now that you mentioned it!

It’s out on Evita , too. I scavenged the whole shifter from Clarke so there is a bulb in there somewhere
