I just can't stand when things don't work right, even if it's small stuff. And it looks like my daughter is the same way :o

Now, if I could figure out which bulb to buy....

Reminds me of mu mum's story of wanting a bicycle when young. My granddad was a superb engineer, but he said if she wanted a bike she had to repair it herself. He would show her how to but that was it. Growing up my mum could be found with a drill and wire-brush or paint working on one of our old cars or doing repairs. Our daughter is more likely to repair stuff than our son, but both can do if they have to!

Stumbled across a nice white 1999 S70 in the neighborhood with someone struggling with an ABS module. Last E4 bolt head is stripped. Talked shop. Will get it done

Decided to play with the impact gun and rotate the wheels on the xc90. Discovered a few things along the way. Putting vehicles on 4 jack stand is a pain. Mainly due to my 6 ton stands that are just really tall. Found broken passenger sway bar rod. The driver side ABS sensor has been replaced. I found a cut wire hanging next to the newer one and I constantly have an ABS light. Im gonna assume its probably the module.

I replaced all the wheel bolt with febi brand zinc coated bolts. They look great and really improve the overall aethstetic.

I've also have had an evap code for a while and today found the vacuum hoses all rotted and 1 completely split so the part is probably working. Anyone know off hand what size diameter these hoses are?

And of course a new washer fluid cap because the little things bring me happiness.

I believe those are 7mm vacuum lines. And damn! What the hell happened to that sway bar link? That's impressive!

It had to be the previous owner. I drive the thing like a grandma. I've seen a lot of evidence of a front side impact that went unreported. Maybe thats when it happened and they just never fixed it.
