There is a really clean 2000 V70 XC at the pull it yard. I would like to spruce up my interior on my 1997 850.....

Would any of the following swap out:

Steering wheel
Power seats
Console/cup holder
Rear tailgate trim (tailgate, overhead area, panels that cover the tweeters and lift gate shocks)

I can not believe I didn’t look at the dash pad while I was there...maybe that too?

There is very little that will crossover on the interior. Pretty much all of the panels are different.
I can't say for sure, but I do think the steering wheel will swap. I've seen some later wheels swapped into 850's.

The seats can be mounted to the 850 tracks, IIRC, but there is a difference in the SIPS stuff and I'm not sure if you wind up losing that function with the swap.

That XC should have a good larger front sway bar. The one I have in my '97 T5 came from an '00XC and it's 21.5mm. (Yellow/blue paint markings)
'97 855 GLT - Hers. RN swap/16T/COP/VVT/exhaust/302s/Flashed M4.4/ chassis bracing/ 2 kid seats
'78 GLE - Waiting in the wings. Future whiteblock/T5 swap.

'97 854 T5 - Manual Swap/M4.4/COP/NA cams/P2R Brakes/16T/ chassis bracing/ XC70 nose swap - SOLD/GONE
The Others- '83 TBird turbo, '85 Mercury Marquis LTS (1 of 134), '86 LTD Wagon, '81 Granada GL, '76 Beetle, '87 F-150 5.0

You can swap the whole tailgate, all 93-00 are compatible with each other for the hatch, but as Chuck mentioned I'm pretty sure none of the surrounding interior panels will swap.

I already have the IPD sway bars but knowing it is an upgrade I might grab it for someone else.

The P80 70 series is a 850 with a make over.
Being both P80 cars. Most of the interior should swap. There will be some difference like the dash sticks out further on the V70. If you swap the dash you will need to swap the front door panels also.

Front nose clip is transferable across all the P80s. Make sure you get the brackets along with the nose clip.

Nose clip: Hood, fenders, grill, headlights .. ect as a single unit.

Yes, true fact

Actually Rick, almost nothing swaps. Perhaps if you swap absolutely everything it would all mount up, could be worth some searching to figure that out. I think you are right people have Frankensteined in the dash before, however.

True, you can swap all the front end body panels as a unit (the "nose"), there is documentation on that in this forum from people who have done it. But piecemeal, only the tailgate.

OP you also asked about the tailgate shocks - those will definitely swap. They are really a mechanical item - a great majority of mechanical items will swap.

The armrest part of the center console with the included arm rest swaps over. The V70 one is superior to the early 850 one

Either one.

I no longer wonder what a XC70 snout looks like on a 850.
Still wondering what C70 snout would look like on a 850, S70, V70 or XC70.
