Post by Gmstewart22 »

Does anyone have a coolant flow path diagram for me to reference my 2000 v70 glt is having some issues and need to trace some things down.. or can someone tell me if the water pump fills off the top or bottom hose of the radiator and I can figure it out that way.
Thanks all!

Hot water goes into the top of the radiator and cooled water exits at bottom

The water pump is pulling water from the block though, mostly.

Does anyone know what the part number is for the coolant hose on the engine block near the heater hoses? It's a U shaped hose that just goes in and out of the block above the transmission. It's 2000 V70R with B5244T2. Thanks it's been impossible to find

Ok thank you, I still don't see it though. I don't know why this hose is so difficult to find!

Have a do88 hose kit 24R (think the “R” means red) that is noted as “Turbo Coolant Hose Kit”.

Of the hoses i have found a home for the outlet line (short straight piece of hose on coolant tank side of engine) but I’m not having success finding the inlet side. Is it buried beneath the turbo inlet pipe (the pipe with the MAF box)?

Also, how do I separate the MAF from the inlet pipe? The clamp is removed but cant seem to pull the MAF out. Is it designed to be separated?

Thanks for all replies😀
