Empirically, I believe that for these cars MAF cleaner is a complete waste of time and money, though only a few dollars. As mentioned the actual sensor is protected and the cleaner may not reach it, and more to the point I don't think I've heard of the cleaner ever "fixing" an instance of a misbehaving MAF.

Yea it’s crazy. I put everything back together and put some Lucas cleaner in the tank and filled up with 93……. And it seems to run okay BUT it’s not 100 degrees outside and I was just easy coasting 🙄.

Looks great!
Here is my OCD surfacing:  You are missing 3 screws. Two for the turbo tube on the front and top of the intake manifold and one for the power steering tube/hose. The turbo tube screws help the tube from blowing off the hoses under the wicked boost of the T5.

Lol I got the screws in my cup holder. When I got the car it didn’t have any. I just replaced that hose from the intercooler yesterday. 400,000 miles the factory hose was very soft😕.

Don't know what's wrong with this thing. Bipolar I guess. Replaced all vac lines, intercooler hose, Boost controller, took throttle body off and cleaned it, changed fuel pump, filter, all o rings in the fuel rail, mass air flow sensor, added factory air box back in, new spark plugs, filled up with 93 with lucas fuel treatment and still ran like crap. Let it sit over night went to start it up to move it drove it around the block and no more ghost idle and I been driving it two days now and its driving just fine.......... With over 400k no telling what it could be. I'm just gonna enjoy the ride I guess tell something else goes.
