You can find then all over the place by that name. Even the manufactures call them that.

Thinking about it with a clearer head, I can't see any force being applied to the rod. Just the handle. My bad. Still a weird adjustment though.

The Knipex one probably works fantastically well, if it's like the other Knipex tools I have.

Somehow I don't own any Knipex pliers. I need to change that. German made tools are some of the best.
