Need recommendation ASAP: possible purchase tomorrow

I think it's a 95 960. It's the sedan and looks identical to the silver 960 I had before. 124K miles, 1 owner, pristine interior, $1,000. Supposedly runs and drives great with no ticking. I'm questioning my sanity if I give this up but also if I take this up as a risk to getting another one that tap dances (the lifter ticking). I do not at all want to deal with maintenance that has to do with removing subframe to remove oil pan. Should I go test drive for possible purchase or turn my cheek to keep focused on a 740/940?

Get an evaluation by an independent Volvo mechanic if possible before considering purchase.

How far away is it? $1000 is a steal if it's ok.

Tulsa. Not too far at 140 miles. My radius was about 400 miles. Unfortunately it sold last night. I backed out though too. I have my 03 accord coupe V6 6 speed. Going to be patient for a good 745, 945 and save money at the same time. Remember my recent double din post? All is well so I'm going to rewire my Honda to accept the sc901. Center speaker, amp, and the YATOUR AUX/SD/USB module for the SC radios. I already got my Honda-to-Volvo S80T6 upholstery swap done this morning. Volvo for me is going nowhere

There are loads of cars out there. Trying to rush to get a good deal is a 99% guarantee of heartache.
