Can 3/8" Oiteker clamps be used on 5/16"? Local store only stocks that size.
On my 850T5 the plastic line od is approx. 8.40mm; the exposed part of the barb seems to be .250" , but I can't remember if I could only find 5/16

Home Depot shows them on the website,
"1/4 in. x 1/4 in. Male to Male Barbed Coupler by Freeman"
(the link was obnoxiously huge)
I got mine at Autozone

All Stop, Matey !
I couldn't find the box with the leftover piece - naturally - so I put on some pants and drove to Autozone.
This is what you want.
Remember to warm up the line, and you will need to trim ca. 1/4" off to leave a little space for the center of the barb.
I didn't bother putting a rubber chafe guard back over it, I would rather see it in case it springs another leak.
I also culled some squirrels.

 I wonder if that warning is for the fitting or the packaging.

Wasn't too concerned about price/returns, but more with functionality. Didn't know if the return line was an odd size, other than 8 or 10mm, but it seems its been identified as 8 mm / 5/16". Both supply and return lines seem identical in size to my untrained eye.
