98 V70M erratic gauges

Post by jgasn »

Hi, any ideas on why my instrument gauges become erratic as the day temps start going up. All good first thing in the morning.
Coolant, fuel, speedo and tacho go berserk
Thanks

Could be the electrical portion of the ignition switch is failing, has that ever been replaced?

Check camshaft position sensor plug and tap it while running.
