Damage to exhaust port on the block-how@#%#! am I

Post by Turbolena »

So I done messed up. I fought with the manifold when I really just missed taking a bolt out. I damaged the exhaust port ...see pictures. Does this mean I have to take the block out to have it ground smooth? Could it be done in place? Can I use some sort of high temp gasket sealer to fill the depression assuming i smooth out the bent up bit?
I guess it would force me to do the head gasket and the whole engine ported and polished and new rods etc... I wasn't planning to go that far...please advise
