Hi Volvo drivers gang

So today, i've tried to replace engine mounts...

The one under the gear box, no problem. Everything was a little bit rusty but two forearms later it was in place. The one front, was easy too. I have to order the one under the crankshaft pulley, the rubber plays in the holder. The last one, behind the stabilizer bar, i was unable to pull it out. I didn't want to raise the gearbox to high , afraid to break the seal... If someone has an trick to do this job without danger, I'm interested. Obviously, a french guy on a forum, told me that it was dangerous to lift the GB too high because the seal...

Ohter question, can someone advice me for the siode mountunder the pulley ?

Thanks to you all

Other thing, i picked up some photos of some elements of my dream car, to allow you to give eventually some advice on what to change or not.

I should probably change my motor mounts too. I've been avoiding it for years. At the same time I feel I should buy some bluebox ones now before they disappear.

So I'm in need of replacement low beam head light bulbs on 2005 xc90. FCP has some basic H11 bulbs listed and some fancy looking HID bulbs. Both come in a bluebox variety. Which ones do I pick?

Up here in Canada Volvo uses re-badged Interstate batteries. Only knew that from working in the parts department to help out for a few months. I've found them generally long lasting a reliable.

I found a rear bumper shell in a pretty decent shape at the bone yard the other day. Made my S70 look a year or two younger if I may say so.

Ouch... I would clean up that wiring!

You can safely raise these engines a good bit, but of course just keep an eye on wires and hoses as you jack it up. Also made you use a wood block or something between the jack and oil pan or gearbox, wherever you are able to lift it.
I had to lift mine a lot to get my rear engine mount out. It’s a little tricky to maneuver back there.

That is strange, I'm not sure what the relay is for either. Looks like it could be the secondary air injection relay, but it wouldn't be tied into the fan power wire like that.

I'd put all zero of my pennies on it being for driving lights.

ARB bushings don't look great either, I'd add then to the to-do list. The last pic is just map sensor and ac lines, of it's functional then its fine.
