Got ants in, and on, the car. I’m not sure what attracted them in the first place as we don’t keep food in the car. I’ve been led to believe that ants rarely climb up rubber tires. We keep a cover on the car when parked in the “open air” garage - more like a carport. There’s a strap on the cover that lays on the ground so I’m wondering that that provided a bridge from ground to car.
What have others done to rid their cars of ants?

I had a nest of ants in the vents of my '77 Ford truck a few years ago. The truck had not been moved in many months. I flushed them and the leaf debris out of the vent with a water hose and had no more trouble.

Adult ants are fed by the babies, they carry the bait to the baby, the baby dies and the adults starve to death.
