Need help finding a ABS pump part

I have a 94 volvo 850 n.a ( made late '93 )

- There is a small break fluid leak coming from the ABS Pump unit
- I purchased an ABS pump unit from ebay for volvo 93, 94, 95 with tracs ( which my car has )

the mechanic just informed me its not the right model for my car ( it has 3 tubes instead of 4 etc )
they said they've called every junkyard and parts place for 200 miles.

anyone have experience with a similar issue before?

(3 is the first year over here and they made some changes in 93 and 94 I have found which Volvo always did and there were no chassis number breaks always stated. Can you see if there is a part number on your unit that is visible or take a picture of it? If you can post your Vin# or PM me with it I will take a look at Vida later and see if I can get you a part number or at least if there were options listed.

I'm beginning to think the Ebay listing was mislabeled with tracs

Ok. First one on Skandix website link is for cars WITH TRACS. Volvo part # 30639115

2nd one is for NON TRACS part # 9140934

Unfortunately Vida shows both, it does not say clearly what your car was fitted with originally assuming the one currently in your car is the correct one. It could be someone has fitted an incorrect ABS electronic module at some point. I can't recall for the 850 if it had a button for switching off the TRACS like the later cars have when TRACS is fitted.

Thank you! I tried to navigate vida as well, and just assumed I wasn't familiar enough with it when I was getting that as the answer lol.

Yes, I believe the tracs option was an add on at the dealership along with snow tires and a extra stuff.

My tracs button is on my dash next to the sunroof switch. I've heard that in cars after my year, turning the switch actually shuts it off, where as on mine I flip the switch to turn it on lol

Think the ebay dealer just mislabeled it.

now, time to find that part for a reasonable price!

Welcome and good luck with your search! Maybe try Erie Vo-Vo on East coast, or vandsautodismantlers on west coast. Worst case, try Chapman Motors on Canada West coast on Vancouver Island.
