Heating problem

Hi too all, I am facing a little problem with my S80 V8 2010. Engine Heating problem.

1- verified with Vida; fan is working on 30 and 60%, and not working when I am activating the 100% option.

But I changed my cooling module last year.......my little and simple question is; does the module is responsible to control the % or current that goes to the cooling fan ? or it is the fan itself that as it ?? I understand that the % is controlled by resistors so the resistors are into the fan motor or into the module ??
