1999 Volvo S80 2.4 ECU kit

I am having problems with a 1999 S80, seems to be CEM is toast. I am looking for a complete ECU kit with an idea of plug and play.
It is a 1999 S80 2.4 automatic petrol/gasoline sedan vehicle.

Since I seem to have failed to get the ECU kit for this specific model, will a unit from the V70 same year and engine (B5244S) work just fine?

Hi. What was a symptoms of yours ECU death? I have similar problem with my car. It's throwing P0220 P0225 P1620 P1610 P1602 after it's stand couple hours when I start it,
show me motorsystem service required, emission problem and those fault codes. Car loosing power and rpm start to jump between 500 and 2000. When it's happening I'm turn off the car, wait couple minutes until stepper motor stops working and after start it's working normal like nothing happens sometimes it's happening one or two times per start, sometimes it's doesn't happen. I tried to disconnect every element, like ETM or gas pedal assembly and check fault codes But they differ from those in the process of the glitch.

I am planning to just remove my ECMs (seemes there are two modules in that box) to thoroughly clean the connection contacts. Am getting some strange code and the car sat for the past two years, in a relatively humid/cold environment so cleaning the contacts can't hurt.
