Blacklab - I feel terrible for your doggo! That's awful - what sort of a nasty dog would do that?

The dog's doing fine thanks, it looked a lot worse than it was, 27 stitches to sew up a 3 inch split in the ear. Of course being on the ear it flung blood all over everything when he shook his head like dogs will. $805 vet bill kinda hurts.

Replaced the upper & lower radiator hoses and expansion tank hose. I purchased the heater core as well that I’m saving for the future. Last day of the FCP summer sale purchase. Some things you just don’t get at a pick a part.

Draining out the crap universal antifreeze, then flushed it out with 2 gallons of distilled water, then I put in the beck/ arnely coolant.. let 8t burp, put a little more then a bottle of redline wetter/ water.. now it's between min/ max mark.. the sweet spot.. MDK

Rolled the P2 down to Port Jeff to set up Abby in her new gig, Research Coordinator at the World Trade Center Health Project.

Yes, I am a proud parent.

So proud, I almost lost her bed on the highway due to chafe. I wonder why I didn’t use the ratcheting straps??

Went in to replace throttle body and evap purge valve. Snapped off one of the TB bolt heads. Intake has come off to extract stud and now has turned into a full-blown PCV job for me. Questioning existence with 33c dry bulb temp and around 102F with humidex. Now drinking a very cold shaken dirty martini.

I confess I would try running it with three bolts and a light layer of aviation sealer on the throttle body gasket

Washer reservoir on my ‘06 V70 was leaking fluid as fast as I could put it in. Proceeded taking the bumper grille assembly apart and found a small 3/4” crack above headlamp washer pump, which caused the pump to rot out. It never worked in the 2 yrs. I’ve owned the wagon, but the windshield pump works fine. I decided to go the cheap route. I used spray FlexSeal (4 light coats) on the reservoir and a 1/2” shark bite plug where the pump inlet is. Reinstalled and is holding water for now. Bumper/ grille assembly cones off a lot easier than I thought it would.

I had that same problem with my Audi. Replaced the expensive tank and it turned out it was the pump.

I see you have the very rare factory option hood prop!
