Mea culpa, which means "through my fault" in Latin, comes from a prayer of confession in the Catholic Church. Said by itself, it's an exclamation of apology or remorse that is used to mean "It was my fault" or "I apologize."
I feel as though I ought to apologize, at least to the regulars, for some of my recent posts. Far from providing helpful information to others, it seems to me that I have wasted some of your time recently by posing questions before I had really taken a good look at what was going on with my cars, and that I have sent a couple of friends out on wild goose chases (or maybe snipe hunts).
In a way, I feel as if I have been picking your brains before I really engaged my own and later found some pretty obvious solutions to my car issues.
Anyway, thanks for all the support, and I'll try to be more specific with my questions going forward.
