I have 1993 Volvo 240 and low pressure AC hose that goes from the accumulator to the compressor started to leak on the bottom aluminum tubing part of the hose as my mechanic had damaged it and made small hole on it.
I was not able to find the hose replacement as it looks like it is not being produce anymore, but I have find professional welder that can possibly weld the hole.
Does anyone has any advice regarding this project? I am planning to take the car to the shop first to evacuate any remaining freon from the system, then remove the hose to get it fix and then connect the hose and recharge the AC system back.
Also I am thinking of replacing the service Valve on the low side before putting new freon, and cant find that valve part neither, does anyone knows the sku of the valve?
Low pressure AC hose leak, aluminum welding?
