I have been fighting a stalling problem and have decided to change my injecter orings. Chilton's is very non specific on the procedure.
Here's where I'm at: battery disconnected, fuel pressure relieved, electrical disconnected, retaining clips off and fuel rail unbolted. At this point I don't know if they should just all lift out as a unit, or should come out 1 at a time?? Are they going to be in there firm? Should an even pull upward accross the bar get them out?? I haven't tried anything yet, I assume they're fairly delicate and don't want to damage.
Can you help?

The fuel rail holds the injectors in place. The metal rings which go from the injector body to the fuel rail act as snap rings. They are pushed on from the side and lock the fuel rail to the injector. The rail should be separated from the injectors before you try removing them. They just push into place with finger pressure (into the rail and manifold), but can become stuck with age, grunge and dried rubber. Use firm upward pressure to pull the rail off the injectors. If any of the injectors do come out with the rail just pull them out of the rail. If any injectors are left in the manifold
carefully wiggle, pry or pull them out of the hole in the intake manifold.
