A guy on my Submarine decided one day to see how many he could eat - scrambled - and it turns out the number that day was 56. Took him about an hour. He was 6'4", weighed right at 280; Mountain Man from Idaho.
Came back for lunch.
Some of the things we kids did to fill the time, I dare not tell.

We had cases and cases of the things. The Chief cook wouldn't let the galley use powdered eggs until all the Mk I items, in the original shell, were gone. You haven't really lived until you've smelt a three-month old egg, fresh cracked. Towards the end of the War Patrol, most of us just skipped breakfast.
