850 Accessorie belt

Post by manovlov »

Hy Buddies,

I need to replace my accessories belt. But i have an issue with my VIN. The VIN begins by YV1LW5502S and i can't find this engine anywhere on several VIN platforms...

So, my 850 is a 02/1995 2,5 L 20 S 170 HP Petrol with sunroof and AC Compressor :

Yes, it will fit. But my Bosch catalogue says 1750 need. I think 1750 is better, less tightness - less load on bearings.
If my English is bad, please correct me

For the price, I think it' a good idea to replace it by a 1750, I have installed a 1653. No problem to install it, but a bit high.

Thanks a lot for the advice.

Volvo does parts by engine number, not Vin number, Manov.

There is a white label on the timing belt cover, and it is also inscribed in the block
Empty Nester
A Captain in a Sea of Estrogen
