Brakes International in the UK also do a rebuild kit, branded Budweg. It's £8 for the seals, and a further £11 for a piston, bringing the total to £19.

They also have bleed nipples and guide pins, though I understand many of you on here greatly prefer the Volvo guide pins. Links to follow:

All three sites are reputable, and I have had a caliper rebuilt with Budweg seals performing flawlessly for 20 months now - since I got the car!

Can you get rebuilt kits for the rears as well?
98' S70, base, 5-speed manual, pewter/ tan, 145k miles
99' S70, base, 5-speed manual, nautic blue/ tan, 225k miles, currently inop

I believe so

For the rears, you will need the internal O Rings too, since you have to separate the caliper halves to be able to hone the caliper cylinder clean.

You can actually get the VAT back but I’m a dual citizen with lots of people in the UK so I feel obliged to pay the VAT.

Well in the name of thinking ahead, I'll go in on a group buy. Put me down for a set of front and rear rebuild kits without pistons.

I did the brake caliper rebuild some 10 yrs ago and wrote it up.

(FRONT Caliper has only 1 piston; each kit has 1 seal, and 1 boot, enough for 1 caliper, you need 2 kits per car).

- REAR Brake Rebuild Kit (Seal, Dust Boot): PN 270902; FTE (made in Germany); $14.40 x 2
(REAR Caliper has 2 pistons/caliper; each kit has 2 seals, and 2 boots, enough for one caliper; you need 2 kits per car).
