Replaced the shifter claw on my geartronic 04 S60. A whole $15.50 & a hours time. Getting the shifter to come off was a lot of fun.

I changed my oil with Mobil One full Synthetic and Volvo oil filter. Also took a look at my exhaust and it's a train wreck.

Decided to move the 03 S80 and 03 Odyssey so the tires won't get a flat spot. Both have been parked for months. The S80 has some kind of leak and can be driven only a mile or two and it becomes sluggish. The 03 Odyssey needs a waterpump.

The 03 S80 battery is couple months new as it was super dead from sitting for sometime prior. The 03 Odyssey battery is from Feb this year. Thought both were dead again. The Odyssey surprisingly had a strong chime after opening the door with the FOB. Fired right up super smooth though radiator is empty. Move further down the curb and parked it.

The S80 meanwhile... In one door out the other into the hood. Didn't want to remove the battery in the trunk. Will need to find the parasitic draw also besides the leak under the car.

Actually I did the PCV glove test and it tried to suck in the glove, therefore I think I'm good for now.

I've been putting in M1 for years without issues.

The exhaust is original and the car has lived in New England it's whole life. The flex pipe has given up and the cat to exhaust is pretty bad.

Got it! Thought the train wreck was soot in the tail pipe rather than just rust.

When the days get above 90 degrees, I work outside only in the morning. I try to get outside soon after dawn to start. When the mornings get cool, I work outdoors in the afternoons. But then, I have no job and everyday is Saturday. I also have multiple vehicles, so I do not usually have to make a repair immediately.
