Tried one of those RainX treatments and they seem to work really well. Had dead wipers yesterday and it made the water bead up and fly off. Replaced my wipers today and am now hoping for some rain to test it out.

Replaced high beams with some LED's and people finally respond to high beam flashes now ;)

Buttoned up the bottom end of my 2004 S60R engine. It's stock but cleaned up with new gaskets and TTY bolts. Once it's all together, it's getting a bath in brake cleaner.

You can’t possibly mean to bolt that clean engine into a dirty car….😙

Interesting, I never knew the water pump pulls from the pipe and then delivers into the block that way.

Yup, the pump pulls from the water pipe that wraps around the back of the engine.

I went to investigate the xc90 for a non functional interior door latch. I was hoping it would just be a loose cable. Nope. The plastic door latch assembly suffered a catastrophic failure and the cable is very frayed. Replacement cable is $15 on FCP and the plastic assembly from Erie volvo was $25.

A lot better prices than the $350 CDN for my emissions cars emissions diagnostic and another split 'J' pipe fix at the carbon canister. OE pipe had only about 5000km and 6 years on it.

Sigh!
