Thanks Clemens, I will check with them. But I do not have high hopes :)
These pumps seem to be very rare.

@misha
Yes, this is it. Both of them are "at request" So I do not think they have any stock, but I will write them.
So, I need the pump and the bottom controller box.

wow. euroimpex.lt actually responded within minutes and they seem to have another one in stock...
If that works out I'll be celebrating (especially at that price).

Edit: still waiting on more info on how to order.
btw, what is up with the swedes, not shipping ot Austria? I tried 2 swedish parts shops from bildelsbasen.se but both said they are not shipping to Austria, but they do ship to Germany. Pretty crazy, we are all in EU and that is just a few km more.

If it isn't too much trouble, that would help.

Right now I have 2 options,
- buy the only available 500€+ pump from sweden
- Or replace much more with normal abs parts and hope it works
I don't particulary like either option. But unless I find a cheaper one, replacing everything might be better.

small update, nothing available. schwedenbox says he has the pump only, but I think I need everything.

I'll try to convert this car to abs, waiting for parts to arrive for now.
I'll keep this thread updated.

The Swedish have a deep fear of kangaroos. They also won’t ship to Serbia as they are afraid of Huskies.

Nothing here. From what I know those units aren't serviceable. From what I know their only real failure point on thise is the leaking.

quick none-update: I got some parts from Lithuania, but didn't have much time to do anything other than removing intake and nearby stuff.
I recently also ordered a complete abs unit from someone off ebay and waiting for that to arrive. The complete unit should make the swap much easier for lazy old me (one breakline is different for example). I'll post the results, hopefully they will send the complete unit.

I removed the old abs unit together with the master cyl as it seemed the easiest solution to me.
Tips:
  • Remove battery, air intake, etc to have enough room.
  • You need 13mm,11mm,14mm wrenches If I'm not mistaken, at the minimum. Luckily I got a cheap set of brake line wrenches. They are all different sizes, I guess so that they can't be mixed up.
    empty reservoir first
  • You might need to remove a line from the fluid distributor first to have enough room to loosen the lines. it is pretty tight down there
  • remove top mounting of the abs unit
  • remove master cylinder and then you can lift it out

Cleaned up a bit of rust and fixed some of the wiring protection in the area. Today I installed the "ABS only" unit, bled it a little bit through the brakte lines on the unit. Pedal still has no firmness, I will need to do a full bleeding. But, so far everything just plugged together, the Connectors are all the same. I had to swap the reservoir, as the remplacement was from a manual (has a plug cut open that goes to clutch cylinder)

Next steps will be to reinstall Air intake partly, battery and do a full bleeding of the brakes and then hopefully no warning lights. For now I just disconnected the TRACS switch... still unsure if it will need more. I checked the wiring diagram, but it does not tell me how the computers decide to set tracs light or not. I will see I guess.
