What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?

Years ago Volvo would send these badges free if you mailed a request and stated you had attained the miles. I keep the badges and transfer from car to car. I don't know if they are available now. Anyone know?

Thanked the Volvo engineers and DENSO for building a robust and failsafe engine management system.
Popped ECM-261A and ECM-2100 in the backwoods of western MA with no cell service, and car went to substitute value and got me home.

Chased nice looking XC60 and XC90 through MA

I upgrade my 2004 S60 console to a 2005. Much better design. Easy to do. I only paid $40 for the whole console & related trim pieces. Would of cost me about $100 just the the cup holder only to probably break again.

Finished the second attempt at transmission rebuild. It turned out very well, with the brand new GM valve body it shifts like new.

So, within a year the car has got a new AC evaporator, expansion valve, AC blower + voltage regulator, rebuilt engine, rebuilt transmission and two buckets of regular consumables.

Buttoned up my "Just MAKE an access hole!" job replacing the fuel pump, and started in on the water pump & timing belt ect. job. This is my first little foray into this car and Volvos in general. Great car to wrench on, hopefully it's as fun to drive!
