2011 xc90 anti-skid temporarily off

The car has done 120000 km. Anti-skid temporarily off and anti skid service required messages seen off and on. Service people put VIDA but could not find any problem. They have suggested changing some sensor. Seems to be a hit and try method. Please help

How are the tires?
Tread depth?
When was the last rotation?

Search forum for "clockspring". Even so, there is no warranty it will fix the problem.
I choose to ignore the message that says "Anti-skid temporarily off and anti skid service" for now.

My friends 2003 xc90 had the same message which cause the AWD system to not work.

He took it to a Volvo specialist who determined it was the yaw sensor, but instead of replacing it, he cleaned it (not sure how) , reset the message and now all is well. AWD system working perfectly and no more message.

might be worth looking into that sensor especially water has leaked into the floor.

almost purchased today 2011 xc90 and the anti-skid temp off message was on along with the warning light and a solid anti skid light. So upset. front right tire - yeah not ok. just that tire tread is pretty bad. Had my hopes up just finding a xc90 right now, and I am clearly not a mechanic but have owned and worked on 4. 2008 XC90 Turbo, 99 S70 t-5. S70, and S90 So I was a little frustrated when the car dealership I went to said the "car" just needed new tires and that it was probably a tire sensor causing codes and bald front tire just was needing to be balanced - that was his excuse for a front right almost bald tire.. Thanks dude
