This is an old thread but maybe I can help someone else out at some point

When using the Torque App you need to create an accurate profile for your vehicle before it can give you an accurate reading on several of its readings, such as the vacuum/boost gauge. The app uses a default of a 1.5L 4 cylinder engine I believe so it puts those numbers into your boost reading which then comes out to show upwards of 20 pounds of boost. If you edit those numbers to the 2.4L 5 cylinder engine in your car then the boost numbers change dramatically to giving you a much more accurate reading. These details that you enter into the Torque App will affect other readings as well, especially any reading that has to do with fuel consumption. Hope this helps!
