I'm trying to diagnose failure of the left hand turn indicator warning light. I've had the dash out and before reassembly I replaced all the warning light bulbs and dash lights, just to save work later. That turn indicator warning light worked previously and I've tested the new bulb out out of the car. It works fine. I've substituted another new bulb. Same problem.
My question concerns power input to the instrument panel. Could someone put up a diagram to show which pins supply power to the different warning lights in the instrument board. Which pin is the ground?
Thanks
Christy

Test (or view from outside) the lighting of both front and rear bulbs. I seem to remember the dash indicator does not flash if the bulb is out. You should also get the bulb failure warning, but the car is nearly 40 years old and that may not work either.

I have a Haines but I can't get my head around their wiring diagram. I've found the small panel for the multi connectors on the instrument board but the diagram only shows me the wire colours (that I can see anyway just looking at the connector itself). I hoped it would let me trace where the individual wires go, and which warning lights are associated with each pin.
Am I missing something?
